More recent picture... At her 2 week appointment, Ava was not quite back to her birth weight (she was down to 6 lbs. when they stupidly released us from Baylor - first time moms should get an all expense paid "resort package" somewhere with a full-time chef and baby nurse, but I digress...) - she weighed 6 lbs, 7 oz and measured 20.5 in. So we returned to the doctor 2 weeks later for a weight check, and she weighed in at 7 lbs, 6 oz. Yeah us! Question - since I'm still her only food source, why am I not losing weight as she gains it??
