This is a rendering of our new home - due to be finished in June 2007. We're so excited! We signed the papers the other day - scary and exciting - and we'll call Wylie, Texas home mid-year. Not thrilled about cramming it out in the oh-so-cozy one bedroom apartment until then, but we're really excited about our new home. Here's the floor plan...
Our garage will be side entry, so mentally swing the entrance to the right side in the picture. Ava's room will be"bedroom 2," and the fireplace and island are considered standard, not upgrades (ok, they automatically add both of them unless you specify otherwise). I'll be so glad for many things with this house, but right now, today, I'm excoted most about the backyard for Reiley (especially when it rains) and to have my own bathroom sink (!!).
Ava update... She is smiling more, playing "games" with me (I blow lightly in her face and she smiles), and is simply wonderful. She's growing very well, weighing in today at her 2 month check up at 9 pounds, 7 ounces and measuring 22 inches long. I know many whose babies were much bigger at birth than Ava is right now, but I am glad she is growing well. I bought the last package of newborn sized diapers this past weekend, boo and yeah. She'll move up a size when those are gone. She had her first exploding diaper in public Sunday night - such a good time, ha ha, and she has a nice case of baby acne. Anyone who knows me well knows that I'm sitting on my hands to keep from picking at her pimples - go away pimples! She is so sweet and such a good baby - we love her so much. Working on getting the new pictures up... Check back in a day or two...
